High-Efficiency air conditioning and heating units save you big $$$

  •  With FPL's residential air conditioning program, it's simple to select an efficient air conditioning and heating unit for your home.  By selecting a high-efficiency unit, you will pay a slightly higher price up front, but you will quickly recover those costs when you see the large money savings on your monthly electrical bill. 
  •  The table below will show you that you can save up to $729 on your electrical bill when upgrading your air conditioning system from a low-efficiency unit to a high-efficiency unit.  The following data is based on a 3-ton system (36,000 BTUH) at 9 cents per KWH at 2800 annual hours of use.
